This folding plate camera is simply but nicely manufactured. No rack and pinion nor rise and fall systems.

No reflex finder either but an optical folding frame view finder is available on the side of the camera to complete the ground glass located at the rear.

The distance setting is made a classical way by pulling the lens and shutter bloc. The lens stand is held in place by rotating a small winch.

The ivory like plate that gives an engraved distance scale  is not indicating “Infini” (“Infinite” in French) but “Horizon”.

The name of the Camera is also stamped in nice calligraphic font in the leather of the handle.  For a camera collector this item is really ..... Perfect !
